Can I convert my Hotsprings above ground spa to use salt water instead of the recommended chlorine solutions?

Go to the spa dealer or another reputable spa dealer and ask them how it would work. They would know a lot more about the model of the spa and whether or not it’s safe.

I’m not sure that salt would help that much.

Hot tubs are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) is the best for disinfection.

Salt water destroys metal, stainless steel or plastic materials work best.
