    Go to the spa dealer or another reputable spa dealer and ask them how it would work. They would know a lot more about the model of the spa and whether or not it’s safe.

    You could add a filtration system utilizing diatamatious earth and UV lights to lessen your dependance on chlorine.

    I’m not sure that salt would help that much.

    I know they have salt water pools, havent heard of a salt water hottub though… you can always google it, but its a good idea.

    Hot tubs are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) is the best for disinfection.

    Salt water destroys metal, stainless steel or plastic materials work best.
